Duties & Responsibilities
- Recruiting, training, and mentoring maintenance staff.
- Maintain and repair buildings, roads, and grounds.
- Perform mowing, snowplowing, and general upkeep of outdoor spaces.
- Oversee shuttle transportation services for guests and members.
- Manage janitorial services, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of facilities.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialize repairs or services and manage relationships.
- Coordinate event setups, including weddings and other gatherings.
- Develop and oversee a preventative maintenance schedule.
- Create and manage a cost center and annual budgeting for maintenance operations.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety and functionality of facilities.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance-related needs.
- Supervise and train maintenance staff as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and organizational standards.
- Promote a positive and safe work culture among the team
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of facility and grounds maintenance, snowplowing, and equipment operation.
- General knowledge/experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Strong organizational and budgeting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Requirements
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in inclement weather, including extreme cold and snow.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing tasks requiring bending, kneeling, climbing, and prolonged standing.
- Regular exposure to outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions.
- Willingness to wear required PPE when necessary.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
