Snowsports Instructor

Job Description

Snowsports Instructors provide top-notch skiing and riding instruction and/or coaching to members and guests. Instructors will work with Snowsports Manager and Departments to provide continuity and consistency across all programs while instilling a lifelong love for winter sports in all. Successful instructors will be ambassadors of HoliMont and HoliMont Snowsports. Snowsports Team Members collaborate with Management and Operations Staff to ensure top-notch venue and program offerings.

Salary:

Starting wage at HoliMont is $15 and increasing based on role, experience, education, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities

Teach Skiing, Snowboarding, Telemark. Discipline-specific to the candidate’s skill set.
Promote HoliMont and Snowsports.
Encourage and Assist Membership and Guests with Ski and Snowboard Instruction.
Assist Snowsports, Rental, and Management with Guest Service.
Additional Duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

PSIA/AASI or Equivalent Certification Encouraged.
Snowsports Instruction or Coaching Experience Welcomed.
Skiing or Snowboarding Background.
Winter Sports Enthusiast.

Requirements

Willing and able to teach outdoors in inclement winter weather.
Fit and able to perform skiing or riding while assisting guests with equipment, loading, and unloading chairlifts, and down the mountain.
Some Lifting with assisting customers up and around the mountain.
