Park & Trail Information

WNYMBA

In 1997, WNYMBA called up the Region 9 State Forester and asked if we could build some singletrack in the state forest and was promptly told “no”. Back in the 90’s trail cyclists were seen as irresponsible outlaws who had no place in the forest. WNYMBA knew better and set out to prove that cycling could work in the state forests.

Golden Hill, Sprague Brook Park and Hunter’s Creek Park are also a stones throw away for even more riding fun.

The nearby Finger Lakes Trail offers extended hiking opportunities for day trips and multi-day excursions.

RIDE & HIKE

HoliMont has direct access to some of the best trails in Western New York. Whether you like to hike or bike, the single-track trails in McCarthy State Forest has something for everyone. There are over 40 miles of IMBA Epic trails to ride in EVL and the surrounding area.
